About The Role: 

ONErpm seeks to hire a Managing Director who will lead our ONErpm’s Nashville team and develop business in the local market ; The Managing Director will manage the P&L, provide leadership and support local general operations while developing new business and ensure that artists and other partners are supported to reach their fullest potential more quickly; As the managing director, he/she will actively source deals from existing relationships and forge new relationships as well as take ONErpm’s value proposition to the right decision makers, and elevate ONErpm’s positioning in the market.


Qualifications

  • Music industry expert with +15 years of experience in A&R, business development, marketing and/or directly contributing to the growth of labels, artist management firms, distributors or other relevant segments of the music ecosystem. 

  • Strong business and financial acumen, including prior experience meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability targets. Strong analytics and an understanding of deal economics, projections, and valuations
  •  Experienced leader to supervise a team of music industry staff members

  • Excellent Communication skills to present the company value proposition that align with our company’s objectives

  • Established relationships across the ecosystem with artists, managers, DSPs and other partners, and will have a track record of getting things done.

  • Demonstrated prospecting, relationship building, creative deal structuring and negotiation skills.  

  • Degree in music business, business, finance or relevant field of study or equivalent experience preferred.
