ONE Publishing is a global publishing entity developed by ONErpm. Publishing allows songwriters and publishers (copyright owners) to manage their catalogs and collect publishing royalties from around the world in an easy and transparent way.

About the Role

The Global Head is responsible for executing the global strategy at the local and global level, driving business performance, and reporting progress and KPIs to executive leadership. It oversees teams and processes to ensure alignment, collaboration, and operational excellence while fostering a high-performance culture. The position also focuses on business development, public representation of ONE Publishing, strategic partnerships, and strong administrative and financial management.

Responsibilities

1) Strategy and Execution

Implement the global vision and strategy, ensuring seamless adaptation to local market

realities.

Develop annual business plans and execute strategic pivots based on market demands and

directives from the CEO and the executive leadership team.

Provide regular reporting to the CEO and the Board of Directors regarding progress and

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

2) Team and Process Management

Oversee regional/departmental leaders to guarantee strict adherence to established

processes and the achievement of agreed-upon objectives.

Facilitate cross-functional communication and strategic alignment between local and

international teams, fostering synergies and mitigating internal conflicts.

Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance work environment through professional

development initiatives and team-building programs.

3) Business Development

Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to enhance profitability within assigned

markets.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients and strategic partners, ensuring

effective collaboration and joint ventures.

Standardize and share successful commercial strategies and "lessons learned" across

territories to optimize local effectiveness.

4) Public Relations and Positioning

Represent ONE Publishing at key industry events and forums to promote the company’s

vision and service portfolio.

Build and fortify strategic alliances with commercial and institutional partners.

Ensure all brand communications—across social media and other channels—are strictly

aligned with international corporate standards.

5) Administrative Management

Ensure operational excellence across offices, including efficient budget management and

full compliance with legal obligations.

Coordinate payment cycles and administrative workflows to guarantee the fluid operation

of local activities.

Disseminate critical organizational and office-related information to the team in a timely

and transparent manner.


Qualifications


  • 15+ years of progressive experience in music publishing, music rights management, recorded music with a strong understanding of global publishing administration and royalty flows.


  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience (Head, Director, VP, or equivalent), managing multi-regional teams and overseeing complex organizational structures.


  • Proven track record of developing and executing global or multi-market business strategies, including adapting corporate vision to local market realities.


  • Demonstrated experience in business development, including identifying growth opportunities, negotiating partnerships, and managing key client relationships.


  • Strong background in financial and operational management, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and executive-level reporting to CEOs and Boards.


  • Experience representing a company at international industry events, conferences, and strategic forums.


  • Deep understanding of copyright, publishing rights, and licensing frameworks, with hands-on experience in rights administration and compliance.


  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Music Business, Law, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.


  • Fluency in English required; additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) are a strong plus.
