JD - YouTube Analyst

Your Mission: As a YouTube Analyst, you will be the expert behind the growth and protection of our artists' content on the world's largest video platform. Your main mission will be to manage and optimize channels within our network (MCN), ensure the correct administration of rights (Content ID), and develop strategies to maximize views, subscribers, and monetization. You will be responsible for translating YouTube metrics into action plans that enhance the visibility of new releases.

What You Will Contribute (Responsibilities and Desired Skills):

  • Channel Management and Optimization: Auditing and setting up artist channels (OAC), implementing best SEO practices (titles, descriptions, tags), and visual optimization (thumbnails, playlists) to improve organic discovery.
  • Rights Administration (Content ID): Managing the YouTube CMS for asset management, resolving ownership conflicts, and manual claims to ensure correct monetization of the catalog.
  • Video Release Strategy: Collaborating with Marketing teams to coordinate premieres, YouTube Shorts strategies, and using the Community tab for priority releases.
  • Performance Analysis: Constant monitoring of key metrics (CTR, retention, RPM, traffic sources) and preparing reports to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Support and Education: Advising internal teams and artists on platform policies, algorithm changes, and new YouTube functionalities.
  • Technical Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving incidents related to channel merging, account verification, and access to artist tools.
  • Internal Coordination: Keeping video release information updated in internal systems and ensuring alignment with the global distribution strategy.

Desired Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of the YouTube ecosystem (YouTube Studio) and its monetization policies.
  • Experience in managing the YouTube CMS (Content Management System) and digital rights management.
  • Analytical ability to interpret data from YouTube Analytics and generate actionable insights.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO strategies applied to video.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in the management of metadata and assets.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts of the platform to non-technical teams.
  • YouTube Certifications (Music Certification, Asset Monetization) are highly desirable.
  • Intermediate or advanced English level (necessary for using tools and platform support).

What We Value:

  • Previous experience working in an MCN (Multi-Channel Network), record label, or digital distributor.
